I received a plastic gift card from DSW. How does it work?

Before you get started, please take note of these essential points:

1. This gift card is for ONE TIME ACTIVATION only -- and valid exclusively during the indicated time period. 

2. If you are trying to take advantage of a promotion that requires a minimum amount, please be sure to load the correct value in order to receive the bonus

Activating your gift card as simple as 1-2-3!  

1. Navigate to https://activate.dsw.com/. To activate your Gift Card, enter the gift card number found on the back of the carrier. 

2. Click "Activate" to continue. 

3. Select desired activation amount and click to "Proceed" to Checkout.  

Quick tips on selecting your desired activation amount...

• Use the (+) and (–) buttons to add / remove value in $5 increments
• Enter dollar amount down to the penny (between $10 and $500)
• Use the quick denomination buttons to set a value
